Welcome to go2auctionsnow.com (Go2), your business is very important to us.

Please read and become knowledgeable with our Terms of Sale Policy, so that you may transact business in a confident manner with Go2.

Go2 provides brokerage services for its members to help them purchase vehicles at Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA). Go2 licenses allows for the purchase of any type of vehicle in any State.

Overview

The policy applies to all transactions between Go2 and member buyers. By becoming a buyer you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in this Agreement & Policies and IAA Agreement, Auction Policies and Terms of Use.

The rules and policies are subject to change or be modified at any time without notice. Your continued use after such modifications have been made will constitute your acceptance of such revised terms. It is the member responsibility to understand these policies.

General Brokerage/Sales Policy

All customers must register and be given a membership with Go2.

Steps to register are as follows:

  • Complete membership registration form;
  • Pay security deposit (see FAQ);
  • Registration is $100 US per year for IAAI;
  • Registration is $249 US per Calendar year for Copart;

Any changes on the Member Registration Form such as name, address, phone number, etc. must be immediately recorded with Go2 by the member. Go2 may request updates.

All Buyers of Go2 units are responsible for all relevant taxes. If you are an out of Iowa purchaser, you must register the unit that you purchase and pay all taxes (State or Federal) applicable to your jurisdiction within 15 days after receiving the Title /Bill of Sale document from Go2auctionsnow.com.

The buyer has read and agrees to be bound by the policies, terms, conditions and information set forth in the Copart "Member Terms and Conditions" for the Copart Website and acknowledge that compliance with same is a condition to buy vehicles from Copart Inc.

The client understands that as a buyer, he/she is responsible for all fees or charges that may arise between the auctions and Go2auctionsnow due to his/her purchase. These charges may include but are not limited to: title duplicate fees for "missing in the mail" titles, late fees due to late payment, storage fees charged for late pick up as per the auction's pick up time frames, etc.

Eligibility

Individuals wishing to register for membership must be 18 years of age or older and agree to all the terms & conditions set forth by go2auctionsnow.com. Our services are available only to, and may only be used by individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. We reserve the right to deny, suspend or cancel membership of any individual or entity at our discretion.

Registration Fees

What fees or security deposits must be paid in order to register for membership?

  • Registration is $100 US per year for IAAI.
  • Registration is $249 US per Calendar year for Copart;
  • A fully refundable* security deposit of $1000 USD is required to gain full bidding privileges. See "Security Deposit Refunds"

    Note: go2auctionsnow.com reserves the right to amend the security deposit amount and conditions without notice.

    * In the event you (the winning bidder) fail to meet any of go2auctionsnow payment terms at any time, the full amount of the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Security Deposit Refunds

    In the event you cancel your membership, or it is terminated the full amount of the security deposit in USD funds will be refunded to you, provided there are no outstanding balances*. go2auctionsnow.com reserves the right to choose the method of the refund (e.g. cashier's check, wire transfer, & etc)

    * Outstanding balances must be paid in full before any refund will be issued.

Membership Privileges

Once your membership is confirmed, you will receive...

  • A new IAA User ID/Password, which will allow you bidding privileges at all Insurance Auto Auctions locations, to search and/or bid on any vehicle, motorcycle, boat, & etc. that you wish to purchase.
  • Access to our seasoned team of multilingual logistics specialists to help you with every aspect of the purchase process.

Purchase Cost

What does it cost me to buy a vehicle at IAA using go2auctionsnow.com brokerage service?

  • Any Boat or 4-wheeler that needs to be registered with the IOWA DNR must pay taxes for IOWA State in order to have the document transferred into client's name.
  • ALL units purchased from FL state must be transferred into an IOWA document if they are to be kept within the USA, regardless of the State.
  • As an additional buyer with own login, client responsible for knowing and complying with all State laws in regards to the purchasing/selling vehicles from that specific State.

As a winning bidder, you pay the following:

  • IAA's Sale Price for each vehicle you are the winning bidder on.
    • IAA's Auction Buyer fee - charged for each vehicle purchased. Fees vary based on the sale price.
    • IAA's Online Bidding fee, which will be added for each vehicle purchased via IAA's internet bidding system, see a go2auctionsnow.com representative for more information.
  • Other IAA fees (e.g. pullout fee) may also apply for each purchase. Fees may vary by facility. It is the sole responsibility of the member to verify fees charged by any IAA facility prior to incurring such charges.
  • go2auctionsnow.com Brokerage fee - charged for each vehicle purchased, see "Brokerage Fee"
  • Any taxes required by Federal or State law for the transfer of ownership.
  • Note: All fees are subject to change without notice.

There is no Fee to access the System or to place bids as long as you are a member in good standing with go2auctionsnow.com.

Bidding

Bid Definition - A bid is a binding contract, which obligates you to complete the purchase of the vehicle if you are the winning bidder. Once the bid has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or retracted. So, you should be sure that you wish to purchase a vehicle before placing any bids.

Vehicles available for bidding - any vehicle in an IAA auctions. However, go2auctionsnow does not guarantee that vehicles you may bid on and/or maybe the winning bidder of can be legally registered in any state or country. See "History & Registration Laws Disclaimer"

Canceling a bid - A bid is a binding contract. Once the bid has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or retracted.

Physically Inspecting a Vehicle(s) - If you are in the United States you may physically inspect any vehicle(s) that you may wish to bid on at the IAA selling locations scheduled preview day(s). Typically, this is one day prior to and the morning of the auction date.

To be able to do this, you must have your own IAAI account. Go2 IAAI accounts are for Online bidding only. We do not provide access to the yards with Go2's account.

Payment

Amounts Due - Payment must be received by go2auctions.com within 3 calendar days of the winning bid to avoid any penalty and/or cancellation. This payment includes the full amount of auction price, auction buyer fee, online bidding fee, other IAA fees, the brokerage fee, and any applicable taxes. The full amount due, must be paid prior to the vehicle being released and/or shipped from the auction location.

Penalties - If the entire amount due is not received by go2auctions.com within 5 calendar days from the date of purchase, additional charges of 0.5% PER DAY of the total outstanding amount will be applied to your account. Moreover, the auctions will charge a PENALTY for non-payment if a unit is not paid within 9 calendar days of the purchase. Please look at the auction's specific terms and conditions for more details in regards to penalty amounts.

Picking A Vehicle(s) Up From IAA

Auction Release - The full amount due, must be paid prior to the vehicle being released and/or shipped from the auction location.

Notifications of Release ‐ Go2 will notify IAA it is ok to release the vehicle to the shipper/transporter or you.

If you are picking the vehicle up or arranging your own shipping/transportation Go2 will notify you the vehicle has been is ready for pickup.

Storage Charges - There could be, if you don't pay, or you cannot pick the vehicle up within the time frame allowed.

Pickup Charges - IAA charges a pullout fee (see "PURCHASE COST ‐ Other IAA fees").

Shipping/Transportation

Responsible Party - The member (buyer) is responsible for arranging all shipping/transportation and the associated cost.

Vehicle Condition, History & Registration Laws Disclaimer.

Condition - All vehicles purchased through go2auctionsnow.com and sold at IAA's auctions are sold "AS-IS WHERE-IS", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY.

Certain jurisdictions permit vehicles to be sold with missing VIN plates, and as a result Go2 does not guarantee that vehicles are equipped with any or all VIN plates. Go2 do not guarantee that vehicles meet or can be modified to meet local emission and/or safety requirements. It is the sole responsibility of Buyer to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate vehicles and any and all information regarding the type, condition, status, and history of vehicles prior to bidding on them.

No warranty is made by Go2 with respect to the accuracy of any information provided by IAA to Buyers regarding vehicles, provided in either written, or image form and Buyer should not base their bids solely on information provided for Buyers' convenience. This information includes, but is not limited to year, make, model, VIN, mileage, odometer disclosure, condition, actual cash value, estimated repair cost, damage type, whether or not vehicle starts, whether or not vehicle has keys, past history and sale document. Go2 does not guarantee that keys are available for any vehicle purchased through go2auctionsnow.com and sold at IAA's auctions, regardless of whether keys are present in IAA's online vehicle images, or were present in the vehicle prior to the time of purchase. Go2 does not guarantee loose parts shown in IAA photos will be attached to or in vehicle at time of purchase and/or delivery. "Y" under the STARTS column in the IAA vehicle detail description, indicates that the vehicle was started (either with or without a jump) upon entering IAA's facility. No guarantee as to the condition of the engine (including if it will start again) or any of its components is expressed or implied. If the Starts column is blank, this is not an indication that the vehicle will not start. Go2 assumes no responsibility for fire, theft, acts of God or other loss or damage to any vehicle or equipment once it has been released to the buyer or buyer's transporter by IAA to Go2 and/or any member.

Defective Equipment - No motor vehicle equipment (including a tire) that is the subject of a decision under section 30118(b) of Title 49 U.S.C. or a notice required under section 30188(c) of Title 49 U.S.C. is sold for installation on a motor vehicle.

Deployed Airbags ‐ vehicles purchased through go2auctionsnow.com and sold at IAA's auctions may contain deployed airbags that have not been replaced. In addition the airbags could be missing.

History & Registration Laws - Certain jurisdictions permit vehicles to be sold with missing VIN plates, and as a result Go2 does not guarantee that vehicles are equipped with any or all VIN plates. In accordance with appropriate State Law, VEHICLES SOLD WITH REGULAR SALE DOCUMENT STATUS MAY HAVE SALVAGE SALE DOCUMENT STATUS IN THEIR HISTORY. Go2 does not guarantee that vehicles currently meet or can be modified to meet local emission and/or safety requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate vehicles and any and all information regarding the type, condition, and status of vehicles prior to placing bids. Go2 does not guarantee that vehicles sold can be legally registered in any state or country. Buyer accepts any and all risks associated with variations in state vehicle sale document and registration laws and the possibility that they may negatively impact the marketability of vehicles purchased through go2auctionsnow.com and sold at IAA's auctions (for instance, Buyer may purchase a vehicle in one state under a clear sale document but is required to sell same vehicle under a salvage sale document in state where business is located).

* All Florida vehicles purchased from Florida auctions must be exported out of the state of Florida.

Titles & Sales Documents

Transfer of ownership - Go2 is required by law to transfer ownership to you, therefore we must receive the title in our office in order to reassign or re-title the vehicle.

Deliver of documents - Go2 will send the title/sales documents to you, once all amounts due are paid, it has been received from IAA, and once all documentation is completed by us to transfer ownership to you. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact time frame due to variables that are out of our control, such as the amount of time it may take for IAA or a State agency (if re-titling is needed) to send the title to us.

A typical time frame will be 1 to 4 weeks and in some cases longer. Again, we cannot guarantee a specified time. It is your sole responsibility to take this into account when bidding on any vehicle.

Go2 utilizes FedEx for domestic mailing and various courier services for international mailing. If you are exporting the vehicle the documents may be required to be with the customs documentation.

Other

Foreign Language Versions of this Document ‐ The English version supersedes any foreign language translations. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the translations due to language differences and meanings. The translations are provided for the member's convenience only.

If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

Go2 controls and operates this Site from its headquarters in the State of Iowa of the United States of America. If you are a buyer from outside the United States of America, you are entirely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws, including but not limited to the export and import regulations.

The law of the State of Iowa will govern any action related to this Policy. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Iowa, for the resolution of all disputes arising from or related to this Policy and/or your use of Go2 Site.

All customers who register to become buyers with Go2 agree to follow these rules.

These constitute acknowledgement and agreement that all transactions are subject to the terms and conditions.

If you want to become a Go2 member buyer you must agree to the terms & policies and you must sign our terms & policies for member buyers.

The undersigned registered member buyer has read and agrees to be bound by the policies, terms, conditions, and information set forth in go2auctionsnow.com terms & policies and Insurance Auto Auctions "Auction Rules", and the "Terms of Use" for the IAA Website and acknowledges that compliance with same is a condition to remaining a member buyer in good standing with go2auctionsnow.com.

Florida Purchasing

Florida residents are prohibited from purchasing any Florida vehicles. If a Florida resident does purchase a Florida vehicle, that client will be responsible both financially and otherwise. The purchase will have to be cancelled for which there will be a penalty fee from IAA, this fee will be $1000 or 15% of the value of the vehicle's bid amount, whichever is higher.

* All Florida vehicles purchased from Florida auctions must be exported out of the state of Florida.
